Melody Mobsby
Chair

Melody has senior-level leadership experience across private and not-for-profit sectors and is currently the Chief Executive of Auckland Foundation - a community foundation working to ensure all Tāmaki Makaurau communities are supported to thrive. Melody is also a Trustee of the Littlemore Trust.  

She is enthusiastic about working with organisations that work sustainably and collaboratively across sectors to support long-term multi-faceted solutions for our communities.

Trina Tamati
Trustee

He uri ahau nō Ngāti Mutunga, nō Ngāti Kahungunu hoki. E mihi mahana atu nei, tēnā koutou kātoa!  

An award-winning senior business executive Trina is the Founding Director of Tōnui Māori Economic Consultancy, an active board member for College Sport Auckland and Kaiarahi to the Advanced Manufacturing Māori Action Group.

Trina brings impressive credentials that span over 30 years in governance, sports administration, business ownership and leadership and youth advocacy mentoring.

Jesse Boyce
Trustee

Jesse is a proud Cook Islander and Tongan, born and raised in Tāmaki Makaurau. Jesse brings to the board experience as a national non-profit leader with ZEAL, serves actively on the JR McKenzie Trust Board and brings vast cross-sector experience from roles held across central and local government, corporate and NGO. Jesse is passionate about seeing children, young people and families thrive because they have equitable access to core needs and opportunities. Jesse enjoys most, time with his beloved wife and three tamariki.

Lou Reddy
Trustee

Lou is a community leader and principal of Te Kura Tuatahi o Wēteri - Wesley Primary School. Growing up in Manurewa since 1993, he was raised by a solo mum and experienced the kindness of local organisations who supported his mum - Grace.

Lou also has strategic management and governance experience in the NGO sector and corporate partnerships space, having served on boards such as the PETER Collective, Roskill Together, Te Whangai Trust, HIPPY Wesley Trust, Genesis School Gen Trust and ARK Puketāpapa. Being a school principal, Lou has seen first hand the impact of our mahi in the lives of tamariki at his school.

Sam Titford
Trustee

“Be kind to others” is a mantra Sam lives by. She has a strong personal philosophy to be part of the change, helping to solve some of society's biggest challenges.

Sam has worked for the Starship Foundation raising vital funds for New Zealand’s National Children’s Hospital, and lived in China and Australia working in the sustainability and corporate social responsibility sector.

Sam is now the Senior Communications Specialist for Sustainability at BNZ.

Ariana Andrews
Trustee

Ariana (Waikato, Te Whakatōhea) has a medical background and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health and working as a Professional Teaching Fellow at the UoA. She lives with takiwātanga/autism and has experience navigating challenging social welfare systems.  

The Kindness Collective's kaupapa aligns with Ariana’s passion for using strengths-based approaches to promote wellbeing and eliminate health and social inequities throughout Aotearoa.

Paul Struckman
Trustee

Paul is driven by a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Serving as a trustee for Kindness Collective, he champions our community-driven mission by safeguarding our long-term financial well-being.

With a background as a Chartered Accountant, Paul’s expertise spans both the corporate and non-profit sectors. Having founded Greenhawk Chartered Accountants in 2015, he takes pride in his advisory roles, guiding several growing and well established non-profit and purpose led organizations across New Zealand.
